The perfect instrument for even the smallest child to enter the world of double reeds. There are no keys to bend and the fingerings are very similar to a treble recorder so coming from the recorder there is no need to transpose anything. In the context of a Kinder Harmony ensemble it would be playing the top part but most recorder parts can also be tackled if they don't have too many high notes as it's comfortable range is limited to the lower two octaves.
