Product Information
The ultimate piccolo with the sweetest sound achieved by en extra thin wall with raised tone holes and the obvious choice for the most fussy professional piccolo player, equally ideal for orchestral work or playing solo concertos. Made by the most experienced manufacturer of piccolos with a tradition of centuries from wood that has aged and dried for decades it is guarateed not to crack when used and stored as recommended. Solid silver keys add a feel of professionalism to the  instrument and have the advantage that there is no plating that could wear making for cheaper overhauls. The high wave head makes playng much safer and it gives you maximum power in the lower registre and allows for optimum overall control in soft passages even up to the highest notes with even better response in staccato. This design gives you the best of both worlds, in delicate situations as well as when extreme volume is called for. The split E is particulartly useful on the piccolo because it gives you complete confidence to play the top E as softly as you like. The g# mechanism helps the response of both top g# and top c and makes the them better in tune.
