Product Information
A simple Böhm clarinet in C it is extremely light and short enough to allow children to play clarinet without the enormous strain typical for a normal B-flat clarinet and much earlier. It is the logical next step from the clarinet in g but alternatively, if the child is tall enough, it can be a great first clarinet. The fingerings are very similar to a historic clarinet. The specially developed Zinner mouthpiece allows children to make a beautiful sound with real clarinet character and being in C it is very easy to play flute or violin music without the need to transpose the parts. In a Kinder Harmony context it is equally at home in an alto or tenor function or when playing the top line and it is also ideal to for playing the numerous C-clarinet parts in Beethoven and Schubert Symphonies as well as in Strauß Waltzes, Marches and Polkas.
